Colin teaches predominately Operatic, Musical Theatre and Choral styles of singing, focusing on classical vocal production, breath control techniques, language (French, German, Italian, Latin) and song characterisation. He is familiar with the core curriculum and exam requirements for:

Who? |
All are welcome to enquire about lessons but Colin will unfortunately not offer regular teaching to anyone under 13 years old. This is due to the more classical approach to singing that he teaches, which can sometimes be inappropriate for a young developing voice. |
Where? |
Colin hires a studio for lessons at the North East of Scotland Music School (see map above). Private car parking is available. Please note, due to availability at NESMS, lessons may not be in the exact same studio each time.

When? |
Unfortunately, no lessons, in-person or online, are available on any Sunday or Monday, however Colin is available most other evenings. Block bookings can also be accommodated for weekly or fortnightly lessons throughout an Academic year. |
Fee? |
All hourly lessons at NESMS are currently £30.00 Any online lesson is 45 minutes at £27.00 Any cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the lesson time otherwise the full lesson fee will still be charged. |
