Colin teaches predominately Operatic, Musical Theatre and Choral styles of singing, focusing on classical vocal production, breath control techniques, language (French, German, Italian, Latin) and song characterisation. He is familiar with the core curriculum and exam requirements for:

Who? |
All are welcome to enquire about lessons but Colin will unfortunately not offer regular teaching to anyone under 13 years old. This is due to the more classical approach to singing that he teaches, which can sometimes be inappropriate for a young developing voice. |

Colin is also able to rent a studio for lessons at the North East of Scotland Music School (see map above). Private car parking is available. Please note, due to availability at NESMS, lessons may not be in the exact same studio each time.

When? |
Unfortunately, no lessons are available on any Saturday, Sunday or Monday, however Colin is available most other evenings. Lessons booked at the North East of Scotland Music School are currently on Thursdays from 6pm and and Fridays from 5pm. Block bookings can also be accommodated for weekly or fortnightly lessons throughout the Academic year. |
Fee? |
All hourly lessons at NESMS are currently £27.00 Any cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the lesson time otherwise the full lesson fee will still be charged. |
